More Information About Comedian Dante Nero
Description
Dante Nero grew up on the mean streets of the notorious Bedford-Styvasent (aka "Bed - Sty") section of Brooklyn, which was also home to other famous comedians such as Chris Rock. One big difference between Chris Rock and Dante: Dante helped make those mean streets so mean! Among Dante's previous jobs before stand-up comedy were operating a one-man "collection agency" and working as an exotic dancer. Recently, Dante has "gone legit" and spent more time making people laugh in comedy clubs all over New York and less time scaring people. Besides touring colleges and major venues with such acts as Robert Kelly (HBO's Tourgasm), Billy Burr (HBO, "Chappelle's Show," "Opie and Anthony" show) and Patrice O'Neal ("Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," "Late Night with Conan O'Brien"), Dante also co-hosts the popular Sirius Satelite radio show "The Black Phillip Show" and the podcast "Patrice O'Neal Show." Look for Dante in the upcoming movie "Fighting."
