Description
Enjoy an evening of stand up comedy featuring Irish and Italian American comedians, starring Mike Bocchetti, who has appeared on Last Comic Standing, Howard Stern Show, USA network series "Monk", Jim Breuer Unleashed, and movie "Chooch". Other comedians include Bill Michaels (seen on HBO Sopranos, MTV Jack A$$, and Comedy Central's Upright Citizens Brigade and The Watch List), James Oakes (from Sirius Satellite Radio), and two guest comics from Dublin, Ireland: Colin Dempsey and Mel Hamill.
Mike Bocchetti grew up on Staten Island, New York. He knows where the bodies are buried AND he knows 'funny'. Mike is both loved, and respected by his comedy peers, and Mike is in demand to open for major comedy acts like Artie Lange, Nick DiPoalo and Pete Coreale. Mike's tight, solid comedy got him to the semi finals on NBC's Last Comic Standing. You might have also heard Mike supplying the voice of Joe Pesci, or offering his crazy views on the Howard Stern Show, or hanging out with his fellow comedians on Sirius radio show Jim Breuer Unleashed.
"Cannoli and Cabbage: Irish / Italian / Catholic Comedy" showcases some of New York's funniest Irish and Italian comedians talking about growing up Catholic, crazy relatives from off-the-boat, and alot of eating and drinking. You do not have to be Irish, or Italian to enjoy this great night of comedy. If you enjoy HBO' Sopranos or Tony and Tina's Wedding, you will love Cannoli and Cabbage!"
