Well, first I have to say I adore Marc Maron and would go to see him anywhere at anytime! That said, it was a fabulous show all around. We laughed so much our stomachs ached! All the comedians were a riot. It was perfect evening and I'd go to the venue and would see each comedian again. While I went basically to see Marc Maron, I will now add Judah to my list of must see comedians! Thanks!
Marc Maron has been host of The Marc Maron Show, and co-host of both Morning Sedition, and Breakroom Live all politically-oriented shows, produced under the auspices of Air America Media. He was also the host of Comedy Central’s Short Attention Span Theater for a year, replacing Jon Stewart.
Maron has been a frequent guest on the Late Show with David Letterman and made 42 appearances on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, (more than any other stand-up performer). He was a regular guest on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and hosted the short-lived U.S. version of the British TV rock trivia gameshow Nevermind The Buzzcocks on VH1.
Maron has been featured in his own specials on HBO and Comedy Central, and can briefly be seen in the film Almost Famous as the “Angry Promoter” who engages in quasi-martial arts fisticuffs with Noah Taylor, then chases the tour bus yelling “Lock the gates!”
Mike Yard has become one of the hottest comedians touring the country today. In addition to being one of the most sought after acts on the college and university circuit, Mike’s made a name for himself as one of New York City’s premier comedians.
When not on stage making new friends at well-known venues like The Improv, Caroline’s, The Comedy Store, Rascal’s, Stand Up NY, The Laugh House or EastVille Comedy Club, Mike likes to flex his writing muscles. He had a chance to do so as a writer and voice talent on an animated pilot for Spike TV. He’s also been a cast member and writer on the Internet radio sketch show Mo’ Funny Comedy Hour! He’s been seen on Showtime at the Apollo, comedy Central, BET’s Comic View, HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, and many more TV shows.
Judah is one of the most recognizable faces in entertainment. He’s best known for his co-starring role in NBC’s largely popular show 30 Rock. Judah has made countless other appearances on TV and in film. He’s had memorable roles in the movies; Meet the Parents, Along Came Polly, Date Movie, the Wrestler, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Late Night with David Letterman, The Late Show with Conan O’Brien, and many more.
