Diana Vreeland is one of the fashion world's most enduring icons, a revolutionary presence at Harper's Bazaar, at which she worked for 25 years, and Vogue, where she was editor-in-chief for much of the 1960s. Featuring interviews with some of fashion's biggest names, including Calvin Klein, Diane von Furstenberg and Manolo Blahnik, Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has to Travel documents the fashion icon's 50-year reign as the "Empress of Fashion," during which she launched the career of supermodel Twiggy, advised Jackie O and continually pushed the boundaries of fashion. For decades a figure at the forefront of fashion, art, music and journalism, Vreeland herself became a celebrity, and was a fixture at Studio 54 and Andy Warhol's Factory. This remarkable documentary includes archival footage of Vreeland discussing trends in fashion, her life philosophy and more.

I loved the movie - Discovered a lot about DV and I admire what she accomplished! The movie was great -- met the Director so I am proud of his work with this documentary. She was right, one must have style! Highly recommend it to every fashion lover. The movie was well done with interviews of her photographers, including Avedon, Verushka. Great job!

My friend and I really enjoyed the documentary. It was well done, fascinating and informative. I knew very little about Diana when I walked in, and when I left I really had a great sense of what an extraordinary woman she was.
