If there is any chance you can go to Eric Michael Gillett's "Hooray for Love" show, do yourself a favor and GO!! His voice is superb, his delivery is heartfelt - he is truly a master of his craft. Eric Michael's treatment of the Arlen material brings new and charming insight to some familiar and some not so familiar songs. Don Rebic at the piano and Matt Wigton on bass are fantastic and seemed to be having as much fun as the rest of us. Loved it!Written on Jul 07 2010
Feinstein's is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff very pleasant. Our party of seven loved the show, our meals - our entire evening was lovely. So much so that some of us are going back to see Eric Michael perform this show again before his run ends on Saturday! Hooray for Love and hooray for fantastic shows like this!

Any chance you have to see and hear Eric Michael Gillett is a chance not to be missed. This was a beautifully structured and performed show. The songs, of course, cannot be beat, and Gillett's renditions are always excellent, and many revelatory. A special evening. Hooray indeed!Written on Jul 16 2010

I am soooooo glad that I went to see this most extraordinary show by Eric Michael Gillett. He nails every aspect of performing this genre. His intelligence, wit, stage presence, voice, and warmth are a lesson on how to do cabaret the right way. Others would do well to learn from him, if they dare to.Written on Jul 13 2010

If you get a chance to see Eric Michael's show, you really must go! His voice is absolutely sublime and he has the ability to draw in every single member of the audience into his world. I left feeling as enthusiastic about Arlen's music as Eric obviously feels about it.Written on Jul 07 2010
Additionally, Feinstein's is a beautiful venue with every seat in the house being a good one. The waitstaff was exceptional as was the food. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

Description
Feinstein's at Loews Regency, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its all-star Spring / Summer 2010 season with the return of Bistro and MAC award winning vocalist Eric Michael Gillett following two sold-out shows earlier this year.
After several forays into contemporary pop, Eric Michael Gillett turns his attention to classic songs from the Great American Songbook in a tribute to one of America's most beloved composers, Harold Arlen.
The set list for “Hooray for Love – Gillett Sings Arlen” includes everything from "Blues in the Night" and "Gotta Have Me Go With You" to "This Time the Dream's on Me" and "Get Happy." All shows, which will feature arrangements by music director Don Rebic.
