The Manhattan was and beautiful boat.. and for once Global Warming had a slight positive effect, this late in the season the fall colors were still vibrantly evident. The brunch was plentiful and this from a 6'2", 285 lb man - so i can eat! The crew and captain we not only knowledgeable but friendly making us feel like we were guest on their private yacht not patrons - I would recommend this in a heart beat...Written on Nov 12 2007

Another incredible experience aboard The Manhattan - if you haven't been on this comfortable, friendly, and welcoming boat you are missing one of NY's true treasures - Spending Halloween with a group of my peeps looking at the Foliage was amazing - and now they have their own Champagne for only $20 a bottle - marvelous!Written on Nov 01 2009

About the Ticket Supplier: Classic Harbor Line LLC
Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.
Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
