The Harlem Gospel Choir, the most famous gospel choir in America and one of the pre-eminent gospel choirs worldwide, brings the music of Harlem and the black church to Times Square in a joyous celebration of high-energy, hand-clapping singing and dancing. Made up of the finest singers and musicians from Harlem's black churches and the New York/Tri-State Area, the choir strives to create a better understanding of African-American culture and make the world a more loving and peaceful place. Allen Bailey was inspired to create the choir in 1986 after attending a celebration at Harlem's Cotton Club in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That inspiration can be felt in the music today, as the choir's uplifting songs of hope touch the soul and raise the spirit. Now's your chance to see the gospel choir that's performed alongside such superstars as Andre Rieu, Diana Ross, Bono, Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, The Chieftains, Simple Minds, Sinead O'Connor, Lyle Lovett, Josh Groban and Lisa Marie Presley. Groove Buffet is a very good group of musicians who know how to bring the R&B sound right back to the 60's and 70's. We thoroughly enjoyed the vocals and definitely the band. They sang all of the hits I grew up listening to and had the crowd really participating. A very nice show!

My girlfriends and I really, really enjoy the show. The singers had amazing voices. It was great listening to the music we grew up with. I got kudos from my friends because It was my idea to attend the show. Thank you Groove Buffet.
Paying homage to the R&B, Motown and Soul legends, and founded solely on passion for the music, Groove Buffet formed in early 2005. The band is quickly on the rise and has become one of the best classic R&B/Motown Soul acts in the New York Tri-State area. Groove Buffet captures the true spirit of what the music was all about.
Their music creates an environment where fellowship can thrive, and people come out to each gig for that atmosphere. People want to get up and dance. Groove Buffet has gained praise from R&B, Classic Rock, Motown, and Soul fans alike.
Groove Buffet has an extensive song library from which it crafts each show’s set list, providing an entire night of material featuring the sounds of Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Otis Redding, James Brown, Wilson Pickett and many more artists.
