The world premiere of David Leisner's new song cycle West Wind, performed by Leisner and Metropolitan Opera tenor William Ferguson, is the centerpiece of this concert at Symphony Space. Leisner is regarded as one of the world's great classical guitarist, and he'll be joined by Brazilian guitarist Fabio Zanon, making a rare U.S. appearance, along with the Arc Duo and the Enso Quartet. The program will also feature three additional works by Leisner, including two for flute and guitar, and one for guitar and string quartet.
