The event was nice and very fun for kids...the cast had really high energy and they were very entertaining my 8 yr old could not stop laughing . I just wished that the show went on for more than 1 hr and 20 mins...it's a non stop show that is perfect for kidsWritten on Jan 17 2012

Very good improv, scaled down, but not dumbed down for kids (and adults) Good for ages 4 to 14 and then skip to adults. Tip: Have the kids think about some ideas in advance to shout out as suggested themes for the performers, i.e., movies, books, TV shows, current events.Written on Apr 09 2012

Took my two daughters, age 13 & 14, and the whole family LOVED it! At first they didn't know what to think of it all as the venue is small, dark, and 'no-frills'. But once the performers took to the stage they were hooked! This troupe is very witty, funny and their energy level is through the roof. They keep the show very family-friendly but also current - asking the audience for info to include in their improv routines, so every show will be a little different. At our show, they totally engaged the audience, including my shy girls, even getting one of my daughters up on stage to participate in a skit. We all had a great time and my daughters talked about it long after we went AND want to go again. So do I!Written on Mar 06 2012

The show is a high-energy, high-impact performance featuring talented professional performers who present a series of original characters, stories, skits, songs and dances based on the audience giving the actors suggestions (a favorite color, book, movie, etc).
Artists create an original action-packed comedy show on the spot that is entertaining and unique for children and adults of all ages. Each show uses lots of audience volunteers on stage in various scenes and skits.
The art of improvisation allows the players to customize to children and introduce various art-forms in a noncompetitive environment.
The Show has played Off-Broadway at the Lambs Theatre in New York City and over 1000 performances at the Laugh Factory in Times Square and the New York Improv. Improv 4 Kids runs programs both in and out of schools and camps in addition to hosting dozens of class field trips every week to student groups of all ages visiting NYC.
