Born at a Mardi Gras party in Portland, Oregon, MarchFourth Marching Band has become one of the nation's best live touring acts -- and you can catch them outdoors on Pier 15 backed by beautiful waterfront views. Denk is a fine pianist, but his attitude toward performance needs improvement. He was proud of the fact that he developed his interpretation entirely from within himself, studiously avoiding listening to his predecessors play this piece. A...continued
