The show was awesome! The Ring of Fire Band, with lead vocals and acoustic guitar by Michael Patrick, electric guitar and harmony vocals by Dan Markovitch, bass by Mike Rosenow, and drums by Kevin "Southpaw" Johnson, played an awesome long set with lots of Johnny's hits as well as @5 duet tunes with Jennifer McDowell singing the parts of June Carter-Cash!Written on Feb 27 2012
The house seemed sold out and if not it sure felt like it was as everyone was singing and clapping along.
The band rocked some of the tunes and also played many of Johnny's tunes true to their original form.
I haven't missed a single performance of the Ring of Fire Band with this being their 4th performance at B.B. King's!

B.B. Kings was alot of fun for my family. The music and atmosphere were great but the food prices were high with lots of additional charges. We would go back again a little less hungry next timeWritten on Feb 26 2008

Description
While his vocal range was unique and simple, it was incredibly effective at conveying the plight of the common man. Cash's music career began at the same time as the birth of rock `n' roll and his rebellious attitude made him a kindred spirit.
He might not have sounded like a rocker, but he was never what Nashville would have considered to be country either. Johnny Cash was unique, with his deep, resonant baritone and spare, percussive guitar.
Michael Patrick and his legendary band of "Suburban Hillbillies" have made a commitment to the revival of country, folk and roots music in their homeland of New Jersey. Obviously not a hotbed or breeding ground for the Next Nashville Star, Michael and his band (including members: Dan Markovitch - Lead Gtr/Vocals, Lou Montella - Bass, and Drummer - Mike Bisozio) have made incredible strides and carved out a comfortable niche along with a handful of other local performers in fulfilling a desire for something different, gritty, raw and real in New Jersey.
