Members Who Went Said:Describing this show as "one part kung-fu flick" and "a rare opportunity to see the kind of action you'd see in Jackie Chan and The Matrix movies" is false advertising. This is a children's show geared more like the Power Rangers. This was a show that I went into not really sure what to expect. A Silent Comedy with Acrobatics and Gymnastics just didn't click for me but to my surprise it actually made a lot of sense. It was a fun show to watch and for some people, participate in. I would recommend this show to anyone that doesn't take themselves too seriously and enjoys a fun experience that you can easily share with your kids.
jr Good for kids. Karate Exhibition stuff was great, as was the acrobatics. The overall "play" or story line was a little weak from an adult perspective. |

Event Highlights
More Details About This Event: JUMP isn't just about jumping. It's also about flipping, punching and major butt-kicking. There are no second-takes, wires or special effects for these actors, who have gone through years of extensive martial arts training.
This international hit takes place in a traditional Korean home, although its inhabitants are anything but -- the entire family challenges each other in martial arts and acrobatic displays. These skills are put to use when burglars break in and get to experience the family's talent firsthand. About The Union Square Theatre- New York City: In the heart of bustling Union Square, this Off-Broadway house has a 499-seat capacity. This is an historic space, housed in the 19th Century Tammany Hall building, once home to the nefarious "Boss Tweed". |
