Lots of fun, especially the opening number with the Pixie Harlots. The Huck Finn rewrite was quite funny also. Justin always gives good show.

I have been a fan of Justin Bond since I fell in love with Kiki and Herb years ago. Couldn't wait to see his version of a holiday show and I wasn't disappointed. Justin is an incredibly talented performer. The Pixie Harlots added a fun, twisted element to the show. A really fun event I would recommend to friends. Hope more Justin Bond events come up soon. I'd go again!

More Information About Justin Bond's Christmas Spells

Description

Celebrate the season with Tony Award-nominee Justin Bond and The Pixie Harlots in the trans-voodoo-holiday extravaganza Christmas Spells. Inspired by Kate Bornstein’s story Dixie Belle, this glittering tale of the further adventures of Huckleberry Finn finds Huck hard at work in a New Orleans bordello. Following a Christmas Eve hullaballoo with the other ladies of Miss Violette’s Parlour of Elysian Delights, Huck (aka Sassy Sarah) sits down to write a letter to her old friend Tom Sawyer — and boy does she have some surprises in store for him!

Featuring original songs, Christmas ditties, dances, and more, this phantasmagorical blend of Christmas camp and seasonal sorcery features sets and costumes by Machine Dazzle (The Lily’s Revenge) and lighting by Ben Kato, all under the direction of Justin Bond.
