There were 7 of us for a special birthday. The birthday "boy" loves magic and attends Monday night Magic when he can. We all were totally amazed at the magical work in a really small, intimate setting. It was fun for our grandchildren, 12 and 17 , as well. The magic done at our table was equally wonderful. We would recommend this highly.

The event was held at the Lowe Regency in New York and it was simply adorable and spectacular. When my boyfriend and I saw this event on goldstar, he knew he wanted to do this on his birthday. The atmosphere and staff was so welcoming and cozy. The acts were intriguing, exciting and funny. Only down side is the meal does get pricey...minimum of $25 per person which we were notified before we booked the event...so we were okay with it.

Fun entertainment but over quickly. Expensive food and drinks.

The magicians were all superb, especially the headliner from Israel. We particularly enjoyed the hour of close up magic, on a revolving basis, at each table. We paid for the premium seating and we were not more than six feet from the stage. The only negative -- the Regency's turkey burger was very dry and garlicky. Don't order it. You can get a hamburger (which is not on the menu but is offered). Drinks were a decent pour ($13 for a very dry Beefeater martini). But the magic is the thing here, and it is special. And mystifying!

It was fun, mostly card tricks, but also other staff. Intimate atmosphere, so you might be chosen to participate in some trick.
