Report as inappropriateNo matter what age you are, this show can be enjoyed by everyone. The seats were good (the highest level, but still could see fine), and there wasn't a bad seat in the house. The acting was wondering and it really was a true musical. This is perfect for kids, families, or to take someone who is visiting from out of town and wants the real Broadway experience. Can't beat this show especially for the price.
Report as inappropriateThe theater was gorgeous and the people serving were bright and cheery. I didn't really like the clash of Disney Park and Broadway, but hell, I was thirsty so I gave into buying a plastic cup for the performance anyway.
I heard someone say no Photography, but they let people snap pictures of themselves in the theatre anyway...so I snapped some pictures of the gorgeous theatre before the show because I haven't sat in such a pretty theatre for a while.
The show was great, I could see some of the original plot from Mary Poppins made it into the show, and the show actually made me want to read the book, because the characters were more developed and mysterious... in the movie they just are.
I found it a bit creepy, a bit Alice in Wonderlandish, but there was some really cool performances, especially by the Aussie lead playing Bert.
And the magical ending brought tears to my eyes, and I was singing the songs all the way home. I had a great time. Oh, and...
...THE GOLDSTAR TICKETS WERE AWESOME! SUCH GREAT SEATS! THANK YOU GOLDSTAR!!!
P.S: The conductor is very attractive. Check him out if you can :P
