I read the reviews and had high hopes on it. The boat was nice, it wasn't too big and for 25 ppl it was comfortable. The sushi and sake came out shortly after we boarded. I did read from one of the reviewer that there were plenty of sushi but that was not the case with us. It was like a portion of sushi regular at the restarant. Sake was ample but we were still hungry afterwards. I like the cruise so I thought over all I woule give it 3 stars. The the day after however I received this in my email : "Regarding your tickets to Morimoto Sushi & Sake Cruise on Tue, May 25, 2010 at 6:30pm, the ticket supplier would like to apologize because a portion of the Sushi Tasting Menu was missing from the restaurant partner (Morimoto), and as an apology, they would like to mail you a gift certificate for the restaurant." How cool was that! I am so glad with this and I am definetely going back to this cruise again! Thank you Goldstar, you have yet to disappoint me!Written on May 26 2010

You get plenty of sushi - its not a light fare, plus four rounds of sake.
The cruise can be bumpy as the boat is smaller than I thought it would be, but it makes it more personal and the staff is very nice.
FYI: It was somewhat perfect for couples, not so much for kids.
I highly recommend it.

The food was amazing! They give you 6 pieces of sushi plus one roll. It was a decent portion but I definitely could have had more. The sake was great and plentiful. It was very relaxing and more fun than I expected. I highly recommend it!Written on May 26 2010

Description
The menu includes a sampling of Morimoto sushi -- 10 sushi pieces and 1 roll -- all served in an elegant, passed fashion while you cruise into the New York Harbor. Classic Harbor Line and Morimoto have taken special steps to ensure that the sushi is served in the freshest means possible for this event: It is prepared just minutes before boarding, stored in special coolers and served within the first hour of your cruise.
Some illuminated views along the way will include:
• The New York City Skyline
• Battery Park, a 20 acre park at the southern tip of Manhattan, where artillery has been stationed over the centuries
• Ellis Island, the immigrant doorway to America from 1892 to 1954
• The Statue of Liberty, a French gift that arrived in New York harbor in 1885 and has come to represent our nation's freedom and ideals
Assorted sakes (including the only USDA approved organic Junmai Ginjo and a sparkling sake), champagne, wine, beer and soda will be provided. (One quick note: They will serve a few rounds, but it is not an unlimited booze-cruise. They aim to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful, and safe experience for all of their guests.)

Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.
Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
