Description
The hey-day of the nightclub era isn't lost - it's back and its swingin'! With a style learned from the masters - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Bobby Darin - and the arrangements of Count Basie, Nelson Riddle, Johnny Mandel, and Neal Hefti - Ned Fasullo has come into his own and "set a new standard" for nightclub performance not seen since Las Vegas of the 50's and 60's. With a smooth baritone voice Ned delights each audience he performs for with a true tour-de-force of hits from the Great American Songbook, most of which other artists wouldn't dare take on. Behind him sits the Fabulous Little Big Band, all hailing from Louisiana, they bring a professionalism and Southern charm that makes Ned's performances hum with energy and fun. His onstage chemistry with the band helps make each show one hell of a good time.
With a ten year history of performing in small clubs in Louisiana to large performing arts theaters around the country, to touring with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra's "Salute to Sinatra" for several years, Ned has become a fixture at most high-end events in the South and created an atmosphere of timelessness onstage that harkens back to a time when men were men and women were dames and broads, and everyone who was anyone was performing the nightclub circuit. Not an impresonator, not an imitator, Ned is a Southern original making his mark, and making his New York City debut at Feinstein's!
