This was a great way to spend New Year's Eve! The Manhattan didn't look like much from the outside but it is really cozy and comfortable inside. The staff was extremely hospitable and the food and champagne did not stop flowing the entire evening. Although it was not real champagne, it was a good enough sparkling white wine for an open bar. We also had lovely views of the fireworks. There were only two small down points. They told people to get there 20 minutes in advance but that meant the people who got there actually ended up standing in the cold for 20 minutes. They should have just started checking people in and letting them board as they arrived. The other small down point was the non stop 80s music. While one or two songs from the 80s might be fun, it started to become tacky when 80s music was ALL they played. However, those are minor complaints compared to the overall great experience that we had!
