The crew was great. The jazz trio was great. The snacks were great. The boat looked really Christmassy. My daughter and I really enjoyed it! There weren't many other boats in the parade (5 or so total) but it was the first of hopefully many years of the parade to come!Written on Nov 30 2009

Description
Locals and visitors in New York City for Thanksgiving Day, may be taking in the Macy’s Day Parade, beginning their Holiday shopping, seeing the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, ice skating at Rockefeller Center or participating in any number of the iconic New York City Holiday-themed events.
Even though the air is crisp and cool, Harbor tours are still operating and locals and visitors alike are still able to see the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the entire NYC skyline by getting out on the Harbor. There will be no better way to do this than to step aboard one of the many tour boats in the Annual New York Harbor Lighted Boat Parade.
About the Ticket Supplier: Classic Harbor Line LLC
Built in 1994 in the Scarano Boat Building of Albany, New York, the Schooner Adirondack is an 80-foot wooden replica of a classic turn-of-the-century pilot schooner.
Heading south from Chelsea Piers and down the Hudson River to Battery Park, the Schooner Adirondack passes by Ellis Island and sails out to the Statue of Liberty. Wind and time permitting, she will head toward Governor's Island, breeze by the Financial District and the Brooklyn Bridge on the East River.
The 1920s-style motor yacht "Manhattan," also built by Scarano Boat Building, is brand new to the New York City harbor as of spring 2006. This 80-foot, wood-trimmed, Gilded Era commuter yacht runs full circumnavigations of Manhattan, dinner cruises and sunset cruises, and is available for private charter.
