I went for a very close friend's birthday party. I felt so badly for her that it was such a disaster. We made the best of it, but it was not a good experience at all. They had us sitting on the boat for 2 hours before moving us to another boat-apparently something was wrong-they didn't say what, even after the birthday girl's boyfriend went around asking anyone he could find why we were at a stand still.Written on Oct 18 2010
Boat # 1 was nothing fancy, but fit everyone just fine and had a decent dance floor/dj setup. Boat # 2 was seedy, had almost no tables, a tiny dance floor, dj had to setup in the corner, and it made me paranoid I was going to come home with bedbugs in my jacket or something because it was run down and gross.
The salad ran out by the time half the people got plates, the cream/milk ran out after just a few people got coffee, and the music was painfully loud (my ears rang until Sunday morning) and not of the best selection, either.

The cruise did not start anywhere near on time. There was a 45minute delay and we all had to leave the boat and move to another boat without any attempt to explain the situation or even apologize for the inconvenience by the event staff. Dinner service had already started so they had everyone carry their plate over to the next boat. Yeah. No sort of compensation was offered, not a free drink, nothing. The entertainment left plenty to be desired.Written on Feb 09 2011
