While best known for his work w/ Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen, Nils’ solo career has produced a solid body of work including Nils Lofgren and Cry Tough, both solid successes. Nils played & sang on Young’s After the Gold Rush and _Tonight’s the Night _albums as well as Crazy Horse’s debut album. Following 1983’s Trans tour with Young, Lofgren joined Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, replacing Little Stevie Van Zandt in 1984 and has been a mainstay of the band ever since while still recording and releasing his own solo albums.
