Based on the beloved children's book from the ever-inventive Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat comes to colorful life on stage -- busting the boredom of a rainy afternoon with the trickiest of tricks and craziest of ideas. Sally and her brother Nick are stuck inside with nothing to do. That's when a cat in a striped hat appears at their door with the most mischievous suggestions for activities that he just knows their mother "will not mind at all." But, when the Cat releases Thing One and Thing Two from his box of tricks, the fun soon spirals out of control, leaving the children to wonder whatever to do. Learn More

Join Harlem’s Hue-Man Bookstore and Touch One Events for a unique book event. The one-hour dramatization will be directed by Ozzie Jones, who has directed for Ntozake Shange. Following the stage performance will be a round table discussion with the authors and celebrities which will fully engage the audience. The moderator of this discussion is Lisa Cortes who was executive producer on the award-winning film Precious.
