Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees: Mariano Rivera Fathead Day

Full Price:
$32.00 - $100.00
Our Price:
$16.00 - $50.00

The New York Yankees take on the Cleveland Indians at New Yankee Stadium in the Bronx and if you're a Mariano Rivera fan you'll want to make sure to get there early. The first 18,000 people through the gates will get a Mariano Rivera Fathead to decorate their wall. The Yankees have come on strong this season, keeping a firm hold on their position at the top of the league. They are fielding a formidable bullpen that has shut down batter after batter all season. On the offensive side, heavy hitter Robinson Cano and cleanup man Curtis Granderson drive in the runs that ensure the win. The Indians are perennial playoff contenders and they're currently at the #2 spot in the AL Central Division. They will be looking for a way to slow down Cano and keep the score low. Both teams excel in tight games, so it could be anyone's day. Learn More

The view was spectacular, and the crowd was convivial. It seemed to me that no one wanted to be outside, so were all stuffed onto the deck, enjoying the sunshine. I could barely hear the music above the chatter. But, it was a very gracious way to attend a ball game, and I really like the idea of traveling by water.

The only critique I have is that lack of adequate signing, to find the boat itself. We walked up and down FDR drive, at the port, looking for a sign, and saw nothing. Our numbers grew, and like Moses, we wandered around for what seemed like years. We finally asked a parking attendant (the only person around who wasn't looking for the boat). He gave some guidance, and we found the doorway, which was tucked back, and out of sight from the street. They carded everyone, so be sure to bring your ID.

The boat took off about 45 minutes late so we walked into Citi just as the game was starting. The music was loud and deff not so good plus one of the speakers kept buzzing. Despite this, it was a fun and different way to get to the game. I would recommend this for the views alone.

I had a really good time. Fun way to get to the game if you go with a group of friends and the weather is nice.

Got tickets for $10 from Goldstar and it was a great way to get to the game. Gorgeous views of the city, plenty of alcohol and even food if you're really starving (nothing fancy, but they give you plenty for $8). They had two enclosed decks plus an open-air level. Not too crowded so you could actually find seats (upstairs was more crowded, but not so much that you couldn't move). Beats a taxi or subway ride.

Like tony the tiger said "it was G R E A T" the food was good the drinks were good also. Beer a little too much. The boat crew were very pleasant as well a professional, music was good, all went for a great evening on the boat we could not controll the fact that the mets lost. Can we do it agian? Thank you Goldstar for the bonus tickets.

Great alternative to a packed train. Nothing beats a boat ride to Citifield on a beautiful summer afternoon. Be prepared to be on the boat close to 2 hours though... it's not a water taxi. Thumbs up!

BEST WAY TO GET TO CITIFIELD IF THE WEATHER IS NICE. DRINKS ARE $8-10, ONLY DOWNFALL.

DIDN'T SEE ANY REASON WHY YOU COULDN'T BRING YOUR OWN BOOSE.

WELL WORTH IT, I'LL TRY IT AGAIN FOR DMB IN JULY.

Sure beat taking the 7 train! Amazing views of Manhattan, watched planes taking off from La Guardia, listened to a great mix of 80's hard rock music with cold beer in hand. I definitely want to do this again.
