Seeing talented individuals (Dana Ivey, Tim Blake Nelson, Parker Posey) read comic and eccentric short stories by talented writers in a casual atmmosphere was a delight. Each was a glorious performance.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! However, I found the intermission to be unnecessary. Why draw it out? Just let us listen and go home. Also, the space has very poor ventilation and by the time we walked out it was as if we had been in a diner...continued

Symphony Space presents an evening of side-splitting comedy that will make you laugh out loud and roll in the aisles. (Aisle-rolling allowed for this event, only.) Parker Posey will perform Miranda July’s “The Swim Team,” and other actors will perform stories by Dorothy Parker and David Sedaris.

Parker Posey’s film credits include The House of Yes_, Waiting for Gufman_, Best in Show_, A Mighty Wind_, Adam & Steve_, and For Your Consideration_. She has appeared on television in Will & GraceBoston Legal, and the miniseries Tales of the City.
