Known for her robust voice and rich tones, jazz vocalist Renee Manning came to fame in the jazz world as a big band singer with the Mel Lewis Orchestra from 1983 to 1989 -- the longest tenure of any vocalist associated with the organization. She's since performed with the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Sir Roland Hanna, Mark Murphy, Howard Johnson, Joe Williams, the Mingus Big Band and the Chico O'Farrill Afro-Cuban Orchestra. As a solo artist, Manning's most recent album, All Grown Up, showcases the Grammy-nominated singer's soothing, quieter side. Learn More

You don't have to be a Beatles fan (who isn't) to enjoy this show, but it helps! The fab four (comprised of the original Beatlemania crew, four very excellent musicians in their own right) take you through a magical mystery nostalgia tour full of authentic sounding harmonies, Sgt. Pepper costumes and, it needs to be said, lots of hair (although John's do resembled more early Streisand than late John), peppered w/ Beatles-like often clever repartee! It's karaoke, singalong time, and, mercifully, there are no Yoko sightings although, acoustically, bbking's would be up to the challenge.... BBKing's is the perfect accompaniment for birthdays and Beatles. It's all good: menu, service, prices. All you need is love.
