I rate it about 3.5. It was a long show -- lots of comics and material.Written on Dec 27 2010
Some of the comics were really bad, but they got the hook pretty quickly. Some were very funny. The MC was skilled. The waitstaff was attentive and unobtrusive. Very well organized. Going home at 11pm in the wonderful blizzard -- that was an adventure!

Well we got there on time and were seated right in the front of the stage.the chairs and tables were so close that if you had gut and butt you would have a hard time going to the rest room, some of the comdians were funny and some were dry. I had no idea it was a 2 drink min, it was not posted on Goldstar.2 free tickets cost me $40 for 2 pinapple juices and two beers (I dont drink).Written on Nov 17 2010

This is a show where you listen to comics entertain you. Normally this show runs 90 mins.-2 hours, but since this was Thanksgiving weekend, I think that they tried to give the wait staff a four hour shift by extending this show to slightly more than 3 hours.Written on Nov 29 2010
The show was fine, but the wait staff needs to realize that when a patron is drunk, they shouldn't serve the person any more alcoholic beverages. I was accused by someone sitting opposite me that I was "staring" at them. This person was clearly drunk after having only 2 alcoholic beverages.
I have had experiences with many supervisors who would show up at work so drunk that in one case, you could smell the alcohol oozing out of the pores of their skin.
I was waiting for the waitress to give me my bill so that I could sign the cc receipt and leave.
I think that because Sunday night comedy is new to this particular club, it wasn't mentioned that there is a 2 beverage minimum purchase per person. I'm pretty sure that it is listed on other shows on weekdays. This needs to be clearly listed on all Broadway Comedy Club listings since I'm sure people plan their weekend based on how much they are willing to spend & the 2 beverage purchase minimum should definitely be listed as a advisory.
