SoHo's own SoHarmoniums, the 50-member women's choir, sings the works of America's acclaimed composer Gwyneth Walker, for a festive holiday show featuring a pair of exciting world premieres, titled This Train and The Tree of Peace. Led by guest conductors Nancy Menk and Elizabeth Núñez, the performance, courtesy of Distinguished Concerts International, also spotlights Walker's most famous work, 2004's Songs for Women's Voices, along with I Thank You God, How Can I Keep From Singing? and Crossing the Bar. The SoHarmoniums, made up of women ages 20-75, boast an eclectic repertoire, ranging from folk to classical and contemporary, making them a perfect match for Walker's most winning works. Learn More
