Saw Divine Sister in previews, then again last night. It has only gotten better. Hilarious with great performances across the board. Charles Busch is a NY treasure.

Charles Busch’s The Divine Sister is a comic celebration of such Hollywood films as The Song of Bernadette, The Bells of St. Mary’s, and The Singing Nun_! St. Veronica’s indomitable Mother Superior, played by the legendary Charles Busch (_Die, Mommy, Die!, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, and Tale of the Allergist’s Wife), leads audiences on this madcap trip through Tinseltown’s religiosity…it’s miraculous, zany fun!

In addition to Busch, the off-Broadway production will feature the entire original company: Alison Fraser, Amy Rutberg, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker and Julie Halston.
