Singer-songwriter Shelley Fisher stars in her own one-woman musical, taking a wry look back on her life and career -- from her early upbringing as a Jew in Memphis to her adventures in and out of the entertainment industry. Raised in the Deep South, Fisher has had success as a jazz and blues vocalist and recording artist in L.A., along with creating her own romantic-comedy cooking show, Forkplay. This funny and heartfelt show features 14 original songs, penned by Fisher, along with pop composers Kenneth Hirsch and Harold Payne. A success in Los Angeles, the "Jewish Dolly Parton" now brings her show to the Soho Playhouse. Learn More
