Players Theatre's When We Came West
tells the story of Canadian homesteaders, the pioneers who traveled from around the world -- through seaports and across the continent -- and made their way up north. You'll encounter the West as it was 100 years ago. Let your imagination run wild as these hardy characters share their vivid recollections of riding covered wagons, catching a chicken in mama's kitchen, bringing in the harvest, kicking up their heels at the school house dance and surviving the worst ice storm in years. Set in a little rural museum, this theatrical adventure features live music, period costumes, authentic props and a dusty mannequin-filled room full of fascinating stories.
