What a great way to spend an afternoon in NYC. My husband and I chose this cruise to celebrate my 30th birthday, and we had our friends join us. We loved it! The cruise goes all the way around the island! I live in Inwood and I loved being able to see my neighborhood! I was really worried about the rain--I kept calling to make sure the cruise was on and they said that because the yacht has an enclosed cabin, rain or shine we would be on. But, luckily- the sun came out.

The wine portion and tapas were great. There was a cheese and nut spread and a house wine to start the taste. We learned about 6 wines which were paired with delicious appetizers. The pairings were top notch! Really good food! We started with light wine wines, went into reds and finished with a port wine. Our group was small but I really found the wine glasses to be a nice size and the food had good servings. We ate a light snack before the cruise, and found there to be more then enough food and wine for our group. If you are a vegetarian-I would be careful--a lot of meat was served and if you are a veggie then you would have left hungry. I however did not. Yum. The only recommendation I would make for the cruise would be that the final port or desert wine be paired with a desert--vanilla ice cream would have been heaven with our port.
All in all-I learned a lot-got a little buzz, ate some great food, had a great time, and they sang happy birthday to me!

My wife and I had a wonderful day. The weather was not so good when we started, but ended up to be a very nice day. Wheather is not a factor because the rear of the boat is glass enclosed. The Captain and his crew were excelent.Wendy the wine exert was informative and fun. The wine and tapas were great. We will be going back

This was such a pleasant experience. Not only was the wine tasting fun, but I underestimated how spectacular it would be to travel around Manhattan and see the skyline from a new perspective. The wine and tapas were tasty. My only suggestion would be definitely not to go on an empty stomach - for the sake of sobriety but also hunger. You will definitely be hungry after the trip! The crew was friendly, and Wendy was very knowledgeable!

This wine tasting cruise was very laid back and relaxing the facilitator was very informative on region, grapes, and scents of the wines, lite finger food was served. Our small group passed very close to the Statue of Liberty and went as far up as the Bronx. I must say it was very nice.
