Despite some heavy showers just before cruise, the cruise did go on, without rain. NYC was seen at its best, from the water, with just the lighted areas shown. The guide was a veteran and helpful and informative.Written on Sep 28 2010

I am a native new yorker and enjoyed every minute of it. It's not just for tourists.
The staff was very pleasant. The guide is very knowledgeable and even cracked a few jokes.
I recommend this cruise.
I did not give it the 5th star because of the limited food in the snack bar.

For the price the cruise was fine. The water was very choppy and the seats vibrated on the outside deck to the point where you felt a little sick. On the plus side, it was nice to have a seating area where you could wait for the boat before the cruise - with snacks for purchase in the lobby. On the boat some muffins and cookies for purchase, 3 -4 beers, 1-2 wines $5 each - Water $4 (large sport bottle) After the boat cruise there were free buses to take you where you needed to go. If you are nice to the photography guy he'll get some great shots of you - The pics are printed there $25 for the first pic (with a frame 5x7) and the each shot after in $10 more. I didn't like this cruise as much as the ny water taxi tour but again for the $$ it was fine.Written on Aug 02 2010
