I enjoyed this event. It wasn’t that scary and didn’t last very long, but I think the fact that my boyfriend and I were in a small group, with only two other couples, made it seem scarier. As I said, it was a short event. It lasted about 25-30 minutes, with 10 of that being used up by the movie/”documentary”.
I am easily scared, so I was jumping at the slightest sounds and movements. Both I and another lady nearly jumped out of our skins when one of the workers grabbed the back of our legs. Also as it is basically pitch black inside – except for the pitiful light provided by the mini glow sticks they give you – it seemed extra creepy. Some of those wax figures look extra creepy in the dark. The one complaint I have is that no one told us when the tour was over. My group was standing in the last room for a few minutes while three workers stood in front of the exit pretending not to see us. Maybe it was part of the act, because it was a bit creepy.
All in all, it was fun but I would not pay full price for tickets; thank goodness for Goldstar!

Wasn't as scary as I wanted it to be.Lasted about 35 minutes, then you can linger and look at some of the figures. They take you inside in groups of twenty, first you view a movie then go on tour afterwards.I was dissapointed in not seeing any Halloween themed figures inside,no Dracula,Frankenstein,Wolfman, infamous killers.Go to the bathroom before they take you upstairs, for some reason they were completely clueless as to where to send me when I asked to go,after a few calls they led me to an employee bathroom. They will make you check any packages you bring.

So glad that I did not pay full price for this experience. Once we were inside we waited about 10 minutes to get into the movie which was fine but after the movie we waited an hour on line in the dark, part of that time stalled on a staircase. Needless to say, by the time we got to the next segment the spell was broken- really not scary anyway, though the workers were trying. We ended up in the main room with the wax figures which were barely discernible in the dark with small glow sticks. At this point it would have been great to have some real lighting and be able to see the figures. At least we would have felt we got something for our money. I would recommend paying for a full price ticket for a real visit to the wax museum instead.
