Broadway's Tom Hewitt (Dracula) Stars in Another Medea
COMP - $5.00*
Tony-nominated actor Tom Hewitt (The Rocky Horror Show, Dracula) takes the solo stage to star in the world-premiere drama Another Medea. The 80-minute monologue, described by its writer-director Aaron Mark as "Grand Guignol horror in the style of Spalding Gray," focuses on a former New York actor who tells of becoming so obsessed with Jason and the Medea myth that it leads him to commit a series of gruesome crimes. Hewitt is well-known for his portrayal of iconic villains on Broadway and elsewhere, including Dracula, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Scar in The Lion King, Captain Hook in Peter Pan and Long John Silver in Treasure Island, and the show's intimate setting is designed to amp up the spooky, suspenseful atmosphere.
