We've come full circle. Popular entertainment went from oral storytelling to live theater to movies to TV to the internet -- and now Blogologues takes the internet and turns it back into live storytelling. More specifically, Blogologues turns blog posts -- and other wacky online material -- into hysterical monologues and sketches. The Younger Than Springtime show tackles the surest signs of the season: spring fever, fertility, The Hunger Games, taxes and more. All material is performed verbatim from the internet, with a brand new post from Jezebel each week.

Now in its 39th year, A Prairie Home Companion is a beloved throwback to old time radio shows and a time when the whole family would gather around the living room for a weekly visit with their favorite characters. Written and hosted by Garrison Keillor since it began production in 1974, A Prairie Home Companion is heard on over 600 public radio stations across the country. Every week, listeners (and the live studio audience) check in with the residents of the fictional idyllic town of Lake Wobegon. In between comedy skits, the show features folk music acts. A Prairie Home Companion was recently made into a feature film by director Robert Altman. This show will also feature special guests Lily Tomlin, Paula Poundstone, and Jearlyn and Jevetta Steele. Genius to serve a free drink with admission. The show was funny, which can't be said about all off-off Broadway shows.

The level of humor was riotous. No topic is taboo. It's as liberal with its content as...well...Internet blogs and it works!!!
I honestly have not laughed this hard since being tickled by my uncle (aka the Tickle Monster) as a child.
It is a small theater setting so you can really feel connected with the performers. Our energy in the audience definitely boosted theirs.
The actors were out mingling before and after the show, which makes the random individual like myself feel quite important.
I'd definitely go see it again!!!
