view more less of this reviewI really enjoyed this tour! I live in NYC, but decided to go since I don't usually visit this neighborhood. Our guide Alana was very knowledgeable and friendly, filling us in on the very interesting history of this area of New York as well as giving us great recommendations for food all over the city. There was a sit-down family style meal at a Thai restaurant, and the other 4 stops were tastes -- bocconcini (mozzarella) with prosciutto, mini cannolis, Chinese dumplings, and ice cream, all delicious! My boyfriend and I were definitely full and happy at the end of the tour, and we're looking forward to heading back downtown to revisit the tasting sites and some recommended sites as well.

star this review starred report as inappropriateThis was an awesome Walking Tour - This was a birthday gift to my son who loved it. All the food we sampled and ate was his favorites. Since I'm a native New Yorker, it was great to see and learn about the history of Chinatown and Little Italy. Alana our tour guide was FANTASTIC! I would definitely recommend this event to everyone who wants to learn some history and also the food was awesome as well. Alana knows her stuff! Great Job Alana. You made this walking tour a a fantastic outing.
star this review starred report as inappropriateThis tour was marvelous! It is a wonderful reminder of all the hidden gems we have in NYC, I've lived in NYC all my life but there is still so much more to learn about the big city. Alana was very knowledgeable about Little Italy and Chinatown. She gave us the history on historical sites in the community as well as how the food related to the culture. My finicky 13 year old enjoyed it!! I highly recommend this tour--the food was divine, and Alana provides great suggestions for some wonderful eateries.
