Davis (portrayed by Daytime Emmy Award Winner, Darnell Williams) and Ruth (portrayed by Tamara Scott) are two strangers desperate to make a human connection in Sightlines, by Emmy Award nominee Mark Eisman. In this intimate two-person play, Ruth struggles with bitter sense that her life has been little more than a series of betrayals, which has caused her to blur the lines between reality and an unreal, dreamlike sense of self. When she meets Davis, and he extends a helping hand, they smash through an ever-blurring reality into a Lewis Carroll-like world in a love story that defies most conventional preconceptions. This unique production unfolds in an otherworldly set that is a true feast for the senses, accompanied by a haunting original score. Learn More

I am a New Yorker who took the day off with my boyfriend to go on this ride. I know that it, and many other things like it, can seem "touristy" and to some extent they are - but we actually had a lot of fun! You get to cruise around Manhattan at fast speeds for about 30 minutes. The boat driver stops in front of the Statue of Liberty for pictures, and gives you some history about the bridges you go under. I even learned a few things I didn't know - and I've been living here for nearly 8 years. I think it's a great deal - especially when you go through Goldstar because you can nearly get two adult tickets (regularly $25 each) for the price of one (our total with Goldstar was $31). So all and all it was most certainly worth it! Be advised though that you WILL get wet...especially if you sit towards the back. Those in the very front remained a bit more dry.
All Shark rides are weather permitting.
Please abide by the "jaws laws": You must be at least 40" tall to ride, and children must be able to sit in their own seat.
It's likely you will get wet.
Please note: boats are subject to change without notice.
