My family & I loved it!!..It had a little something for everyone the age range for my group was 10-41. The most impressive part was the live musicians. Wintuk is a must see for the holidays it will really bring your family together. It reminded me of The Wizard of Oz meets Ringling Brothers Circus.
The event was wonderful! We went on 12/23/08 so it was very close to the Christmas holiday. It was an almost FULL house and the audience was very much in the Christmas spirit. The acrobats were facinating! They did so many wonderful tricks. There was a 20 minute intermition but even that went by pretty quickly. The ending was spectacular as all the fake snow filled the audience. I still have fake snow in my bag and on my coat. Nice for the entire family.

Cirque du Soleil's Wintuk is playful, musical, and bursting with the energy of the city and the broad sweep of nature. A cast of 50 performers weaves thrilling circus arts, breathtaking theatrical effects and memorable songs into a meaningful seasonal story that resonates with the whole family.
A boy lives in a city where the arrival of winter has brought long shadows and intense cold -- but no snow. He interacts with an extraordinary cast of high-energy urban street characters, including acrobats, dancers and talking marionettes. But when the snow still doesn’t arrive, he embarks on a quest with three companions -- a female shaman who’s lost in the city, a shy man destined to discover his courage and the shadow of a young girl -- to find the snow and bring it back where it belongs.
The adventurers journey to an imaginary land called Wintuk -- an Arctic world without sunlight -- where they encounter the rich culture of the People of the North and extraordinary giant characters made of ice. When at last the sun returns, they fly home on the wings of a giant crane and generate a swirling snowstorm.
