Though Howie Mandel has been in show business for more than 30 years, his celebrity status hasn't faded. In fact, it's going stronger than ever. He's the Emmy-nominated host of Deal or No Deal, a judge on America's Got Talent, author of bestselling memoir Here's the Deal: Don't Touch Me and host of FOX's new hidden-camera flash-mob show Mobbed. It's a little-known fact that Mandel started his career on a dare, when he took the stage at an open mic night and was immediately discovered by a TV producer, which led to a series of stand-up appearances followed by six years as a regular cast member on St. Elsewhere. Mandel also had an Emmy-nominated animated children's series, Bobby's World, which ran for eight seasons on FOX. He was a go-to fill-in host for Regis on Live with Regis and Kelly, and he can also be seen regularly doing hidden camera bits on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Learn More

Morgan Murphy has been doing stand-up since the age of 18. While still in college she made her first of what would be many appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. She has also been seen on Comedy Central, Last Call with Carson Daly, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Morgan has toured with the Comedians of Comedy, and appears in the comedy concert film, “Comedians of Comedy: Live at the Troubador.”

Bobcat Goldthwait has put Morgan in his last two films, including the “World’s Greatest Dad” starring Robin Williams. She has written for Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s “Crank Yankers,” MTV’s “Human Giant,” multiple roasts and awards shows, and currently writes on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Named a “top ten comic to watch” by Variety magazine, Morgan has performed at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, the Montreal Comedy Festival, as well as other festivals here and abroad. Each winter you can see her as the beer swilling Hanukkah Fairy in Aimee Mann’s Christmas Tour.

About the Ticket Supplier: Stand Up NY

Stand Up NY opened its doors to the Upper West Side in the spring of 1986, making it one of the oldest comedy clubs in the city. From day one, Stand Up NY has devoted itself to finding the city's hottest new comedic talents. Some of America's most successful comics such as Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Jon Stewart started their comedy careers on Stand Up NY's stage.

Today, the club is home to established comedians and newcomers alike. The stage is packed seven nights a week with stars that have appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, NBC, ABC, and CBS. Producers from The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno often use the space to hold auditions and scout new talent. You never know who will stop by for an impromptu performance.
