Comix presents Janeane Garofalo and Marc Maron. Known for her incisive, cynical sense of humor, Janeane Garofalo's credits include The Larry Sanders Show and 24. Maron's hilariously neurotic stories of his life and sharp political comedy earned him 42 appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, more than any other stand-up comic.

This event surpassed expectations. Event was only 15 or so minutes late. The place was full and the lineup was orderly. We arrived about half an hour before the event and joined the lineup. Food and beverage service was slow, but understandable since 1) we were not first to be served, and 2) the place seemed understaffed. The server was friendly and prompt once we were able to order. All in all, a good time was had. I'd recommend it; so would the others in my party. Mr. Maron and his guests were extemporaneously entertaining. Topical, as well as personal.

Both were funny, though Maron was more so (dark humor, so if that's not your style...). Garafalo was disorganized. She needs to get it together. Knowing how progressive and political they both are, I was expecting more political humor.

I know comedians are supposed to be self-deprecating, but these guys went pretty far. I was especially surprised how unprepared Janeane was who kept looking at her notes and was all over the place with her thoughts...the venue was nice however....
