The Host Jay Oakerson was hilarious. He was the best comic all night, the other comedians were ok. The venue, Stand-Up NY, was disgusting, the paint was chipping off of the ceilings, the place looked dusty and old, like it was crawling with bugs and germs. I understand that they may want to kep the rustic, original feel to the place, but at least mop and slap on a coat of fresh paint.
I'm glad this was a free event, if not I would demand my money back!!!!!! Goldstar, you couldn't pay me to go back to Stand-Up NY.....yuck!!!!
drinks are ridiculously expensive!
The comedians were all funny and it was entertaining. The club seemed like a tourist trap though and the drinks were the most insane prices i've seen in a long time. $9 for a bud light!
