I took my husband there for his birthday and I have to say it was really nice. The food was good (wish it was more). Service was nice, the scenery on the outside was picture perfect. I was bummed that it was rather a cool night, therefore, it was windy. I am sure if it were a hot night,it would have been even better. I would do it again!Written on Sep 13 2010

My husband and I had a great time. We celebrated our 17th Anniversary. The food was wonderful and the music great. I recommend this to anyone who wants to go out for dinner in a different way. It is less expensive than going out on the town and sitting for only 1 1/12 hour meal with no view.Written on Sep 27 2010

Very well organized except for a little wait on the food, the atmosphere is very relaxing! You can have part of your meal, then step outside for a beautiful view of manhattan. You can also go downstairs and dance to a great Jazz band. One other review said that they could of provided more food, and I agree....like some additional veggies. The staff was very informative and except for the outrageous price of parking onsite of $35 I thought the dinner cruise was great.Written on May 31 2011

The ship is very upscale, we sat down stairs where we could see the band. The music was diverse and it was a smooth cruise. We were celebrating a birthday and ordered a cake($26), very nice they put her name on the cake and sung happy birthday to her, she was surprised. We took a taxi, but should have drove since you can park right next to the ship.Written on Mar 08 2011

The Duchess has an exterior deck and two climate-controlled, interior decks, which can be chartered separately year-round. The 160-foot long ship is outfitted with a baby grand piano, a permanent oversized dance floor and a high-quality sound system.
The sail features a three hour cruise, private table, music and access to the spacious outdoor decks where you can choose to dine outside.
Included in the ticket price is a 4-course dinner. Fresh, locally sourced ingredients are prepared on-board to create hearty and healthy dishes.
Weekday dinner cruises feature a DJ/MC who plays a variety of contemporary popular music hits for your dancing pleasure until the ship docks.
Sunday dinner cruises feature live music performed by some of New York's most talented jazz musicians.
During the cruise, you will experience the dramatic views of the Manhattan skyscrapers and bridges that make the New York skyline so impressive. The highlight of the cruise is a close-up look at the majestic Statue of Liberty.
