Members Who Went Said:So much fun! Energizing! Like taking an hour out of your day to go to fabulous rave party!
kelly This show was amazing! Stimulating in every way. I have to buy tickets for everyone who comes to visit me in the City! You stand the whole time but are moving around and so fixated on the performance that you don't get tired or bored. I was confused but fascinated the entire time. The best was that after the cast took their bow all the actors jumped into the crowd and danced with us. I left the theatre soaking wet. I can't wait to see it again.
Anonymous Member Awesome! Beautiful, poetic, frenetic and powerful. Don't hesitate, check it out! |

More Details About This Event: From the creators of the smash-hit De La Guarda, Fuerzabruta is an event where worlds collide, dreams are real and reality takes a back seat. The visuals are spectacular. The effects are stunning. Performers run and tumble across a vertical wall of technicolor cloth, a man runs headlong through a wall, two people try desperately to connect from opposite sides of a huge spinning and whirling sail and -- most extraordinary of all -- performers dance in watery world just above the audience’s heads. This all takes place to a soundtrack that traverses thumping club beats to the mellow sounds of new world music. Fuerzabruta has taken Europe and South America by storm -- its New York debut is one of the most anticipated events of the Fall season.
About Daryl Roth Theatre: The Daryl Roth Theatre, formerly the Union Square Savings Bank, is located at 20 Union Square East at the corner of East 15th Street. Built in the 1840's, this Landmark building was revived as a theatre by producer Daryl Roth in 1996, and served as home to the international Off-Broadway hit De La Guarda seven years. The Theatre is a non-obstructed space (80' x 45') with high ceilings (40'). It is completely unique to the Union Square area. |
