This particular Glee Club is not the famed TV version filled with high-school kids singing hit power ballads -- but Matthew Freeman's one-act comedy does find laughs and conflict through a collection of misfits. They just happen to be eight grown-up guys who're part of a small-town Vermont choir. They're stoked for a big upcoming performance, but there's one small problem -- their star soloist can only really shine when he's drunk, and he's picked this week to go on the wagon.

Uneven performance, unfinished book....but luckily short timewise.....dying is easy, comedy is hard

I enjoyed the story. And the acting got better as the story went on and the actors got more comfortable, but the actor playing Paul and the actor playing the singer stricken with cancer were consistently good. I enjoyed the show.

Cute show. All the characters fit their parts well. It was almost like it was written for them. It was short and funny and a nice thing to do to waste an hour.

Started off very slow. The actors were good. Picked up toward the end.

Description

Eight misfit members of Romeo, Vermont's cut-throat glee club are on the verge of meltdown after their soloist makes a disastrous decision to stop drinking right before a performance. Will they be ready in time for the big recital? Will they mend torn friendships and wounded hearts? Isn't music the most important thing? An explicit comedy about singing, friendship, and the riffs in between.
