Led by fun, friendly and knowledgeable guides, this off-the-beaten-path tour of the West Village, the Meatpacking District and Greenwich Village is an exciting combination of sightseeing, history, pop culture, and tasty local food stops. You'll start at the former factory where the famed Oreo cookie was born. From there, explore the High Line (America's only elevated park), learn about the evolution of the Meatpacking District, and wind your way through the unique 19th century streets of Greenwich village, lined with splendid brownstones and sidewalk cafes. Refuel with a tasty English meat pie or New York-style slice of pizza before ending your 3-hour excursion in Washington Square with many great local bars, restaurants, shops and cafes nearby.

This is my 3rd tour with City Rover and they've all been great. Max is a great tour guide. Really takes his time to talk to everyone on the tour. There are usually 10-12 people. He gives out a free water bottle and a couple of snacks along the tour. Well worth it at regular price and really worth it at discount price. All walking for 3 hours.

Danielle is a great knowlegeable tour leader. The tour was so informative and the small
Size group made the walk very personal....We saw delightful places we would never have discovered on our own....
Many thanks for sharing your city!

Our tour guide, Danielle, was amazing: informative, energetic, good humored, interesting. We enjoyed the tour with CityRoverWalks so much that we purchased a tour for a different part of the city two days later. Great value.
