To truly celebrate life, you must fully embrace death. It sounds somber, but it's actually life-affirming. That is the lesson that MAC Award-winning entertainer Thomas Honeck learned during the 17 years he spent studying with shamans all over the world. Despite all the cultural differences he encountered, that common thread wove through them all. Now Honeck has taken what he's learned and turned it into a ruminating rumba of a show. Dancing With Death celebrates life by embracing death, using dance and songs by artists like Peter Gabriel, Laura Nyro, Chris De Burgh and Mary Chapin-Carpenter to tell its story. This show may be about death, but Honeck assures that it is actually a rather jubilant experience. Learn More
