Following a hit run at the New York International Fringe Festival and two sold-out runs at the Duplex Cabaret, the award-winning "Best Ensemble" of Christian Mansfield, Philip Mutz and Ken Urso is back for another summer of Gay Camp. This quick-change farce follows the stories of several young campers who've been shipped off by their parents to Camp Acceptance -- a gay reform camp -- in a desperate attempt to be "fixed." Once there, they encounter an evil headmaster, electrified fences, disco balls and even Michelle Bachmann on the way to ultimately learning how to love one another as well as themselves just the way they are. Colleen McHugh ("Calendar Girl") performs a new show every month, including Songs of Self-Delusion, Tales of Revenge and Regret, The Songs of Judy Garland, The Genius of The Carpenters, Bastille Magnolias, There's Noel in Chanukah, Pret a PORTER, A Celebration of Springtime, an in-depth exploration of the color Green... even a whole show about her mouth.
Come and hear the best moments from the past year: the best of these iconic shows, plus some new favorites and as always, brilliant improvisation and searing social commentary.
