In this memory play by award-winning writer Yasmine Beverly Rana, a 30-year-old woman revisits key points in her life in an effort to understand and overcome a sexually abusive past. Rana, who was born in New Orleans, sets Blood Sky along the Mississippi River, where a young teenager named Joely tries to escape life as the victim of abuse by her mother's boyfriend. Terry Schreiber directs this production, continuing the company's collaboration with Rana, whose critically acclaimed Bosnian War drama The Fallen was staged here in 2013. Learn More
