This was a 5 hour excursion. We headed right fo rthe front of the ship to get a good spot for the fireworks display later in teh evening. Unfortunatley, not many chairs on thsi ship so we had to stand at the railing to hold our spots for the entire 5 hours. Had a perfect spot for the fireworks until a staff member moved me out of my spot claiming he needed to be in front of the ship for security reasons. He blocked most of my view. The fireworks are not over head where you are looking up. You look forward from the front of the ship.
The ride is nice and slow and since it starts on the east side you travel all through the
harbor and get close to the Status of Liberty
