Members Who Went Said:The show had nothing to do with Conon O'Brien as far as I could tell, and the first 4 performers were pretty weak, but then there were some good ones, including Dave Attel, and then CHRIS ROCK SHOWED UP! He performed for over an hour, testing out some new material. God bless Stand Up NY!
Susan Ru very funny. comics were all funny with different styles. drinks were very expensive.
Spunos It was a pretty good time for a Monday night. About 2 of the comics I had seen elsewhere on tv (Eugene Mirman and Greg Baldo) and the others were quite good too. It was a good time even though the cost of drinks are a bit much, but that's to be expected at a comedy club. I'd go back again in month or two. |

More Details About This Event: April 28th-
Featuring Rob Cantrell NBC's "Last Comic Standing" Referred to as "the most cunning talk show around" by Entertainment Weekly, Late Night with Conan O'Brien began its 14th season on August 29, 2006. In addition to dominating the ratings in its time period, every aspect of Late Night has been praised by the media, from Conan himself ("modest, wry, self-effacing, and demonstrably the most intelligent of the late-night comics," said The Washington Post) to the show's comedy ("original and often breathtakingly silly," according to the New York Daily News) to The Max Weinberg 7 ("the best band in late-night TV," said The Washington Post). In 2006, Late Night was honored with five Emmy nominations (a personal best for the show), including nominations for Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series (for the 4th straight year) and Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music, or Comedy Series (for the 10th straight year). 2006 also saw Conan and the Late Night writing staff win a Writers Guild Award for Best Writing for a Comedy/Variety Series, their sixth Writers Guild Award overall (including consecutive wins in 2002 and 2003). From the beginning, Late Night with Conan O'Brien has been a premiere venue for comedy, welcoming the most diverse and cutting-edge assortment of comedic performers anywhere on network television. Visitors to the program have included acts ranging from living legends to current hitmakers to underground sensations.
