We arrived an hour after the event began. We missed the open bar which was scheduled from seven to eight p.m. The event's host gave us a drink and then we started to play. The room was set up in a semi circle, with various games around the room. Games included drinkology, hungry hungry hippo, connect four, etc. Women outnumbered the men at this event.Written on Jan 18 2012

The event was fun and was in a casual environment so it wasn't stuffy.. The open bar was nice for the price I paid. I know.it was advertised for.40 for non members which I think would have been too much to charge based on what was provided. Theres only so much.you can drink in an hour. Overall everyone was friendly and the hosts made everyone.feel welcome.Written on Feb 22 2012

I went with a friend and we had a good time. We were happy with the open bar, which was mixed well drinks and beer - I would have liked wine options but was fine with rum and cokes.Written on Jan 31 2012
The games were operation, hungry hippos (which kept breaking), connect four, scrabble, drinkopoly (which isn't really appropriate for a public bar more designed for a college frat party as it is basically either drink or take your clothes off), jenga (which when it falls hits your food/drink and the people at the next table). I would like to see more group games/games that are for more than two people, and also a couple decks of plain old playing cards. Also, the people who came were kind of a lame crowd who didn't seem that interested in mingling which I thought was the whole point of being there.
One other note, whenever you go to open bar, show up on time or you will miss the benefit of open bar. Don't show up after it's over and complain you didn't get any open bar drinks. Also, I thought the food was good for the price - there was a huge nachos platter, hummus/pita/extras, and a chicken fingers platter. I wasn't even expecting food. We only paid $9 each as we scored the service charge only goldstar tickets, and so we had food plus about six drinks each. Then, after the open bar ended, they were giving out free drink coupons, which some people left on their tables and we picked up extras of. So were were there 2 hrs and didn't have to pay for any drinks. I was happy with it and would recommend going, but take a friend as the crowd you get may not be that hospitable to singles.
